Intermediate / Senior Civil Engineers - Land Development

We are on the lookout for intermediate and senior level civil engineers to join the crew – people who have a great attitude, an appetite to learn and grow, and not be shy of hard work.

Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa, and ideally have at least 10 years of New Zealand land development experience.

Licensed Cadastral Surveyor

We currently have 2 positions available:
The Lifestyler – you might be near retirement, on maternity leave or just looking to invest in life rather than a career. Work from home in the hours you choose, as long as the job gets done! Part time or full time working on Cadastral calculations and landonline datasets.
Climbing the career ladder – Time to step up and lead a team, manage projects and staff. We require a Survey Manager with all round experience in land development. Company shares will be considered for the right person.

Senior / Intermediate Planners
Are you an ambitious senior or intermediate planner looking for the next challenge in your career, an opportunity to grow and develop as a planner, and to contribute to the success of a growing land and property development consultancy?
CivilPlan Consultants is a team of dedicated resource management planners, civil engineers, project managers and surveyors based in Manukau City, with projects across the Auckland and Waikato Regions. We pride ourselves in being large enough to compete, while small enough to care.
Our expertise includes policy projects at both a local and regional level; land use and subdivision consents, often significant in scale and complexity; and various other planning workstreams and strategic advice to support our client’s interests. Our client representation extends to the private, public and not for profit sectors.
For the senior position you will have:

A solid industry reputation, including NZPI full membership
-
A broad range of resource management skills and experience (5+ years)

Proven management and leadership skills

Experience in client facing roles

Business development experience
For the intermediate role you will have:

A planning degree (recognised by the NZ Planning Institute)

A positive, can-do, team oriented attitude

Clear and well-articulated written and oral communication skills

Ability to maintain and develop client relationships

Relevant work experience in planning/resource management (3+ years)
